Job Description: upply of cold blast to A to G Blast Furnaces - Job Responsibilitie: Optimise blower operation to get ABP Blowing cost. Monitoring of Sp steam consumption of blowers and its vacuum and take corrective action. Monitor trial of stand by and emergency equipment Supply of Service water in to network - Regular monitoring of Upper Cooling pond and lower Cooling pond level and take make up water from River Pump House. Upkeep of Upper Cooling Pump. Plan overhauling and shut down of service water pumps Plan annual shut down of blowers based on Blast Furnace Major shut downs. Plan preventive maintenance of blowers and auxiliary equipment based on inspection report. Monitoring of Lube oil and hydraulic oil quality as per plan. Monitoring of circulating water chemistry.
