Job Description: M&S is undergoing a major transformation, it is critical for the future success of M&S that we become genuinely digital-first in our end-to-end operations alongside the “Digital First” strategy and various other programmes across the Transformation landscape. Reporting to the Programme Manager you will play a critical role in driving all aspects of PMO of the MS2 programme, including planning, reporting and programme governance through to working with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of this programme. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract and would be ideal for someone who is a team player and is inspired by working collaboratively with others. Job Responsibilities: Supporting the programme team when appropriate through workshops, stakeholder engagement and communication planning Driving further change and innovation within the Governance area to improve efficiency, automation and cost effectiveness of all programmes and projects across MS2 Ensuring all areas of the programme adhere to the governance standards agreed to Responding to ad-hoc demands related to Governance and reporting activity and support senior management as business needs change Extending the breadth of management information made available and innovate in the way this information is presented and delivered Co-ordinating and produce programme governance documentation on time; status reports / risk, issue & action logs / presentations – including action follow-up with action owners Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the programme across the wider business Ensuring the programme governance group and the programme team are equipped with the right information at the right time to enable effective management and decision making affecting the programme Acting in an advisory capacity to initiatives, mission teams and business colleagues to assist in aligning the effective delivery of the programme Managing the process of consolidating programme status reports and distribute to stakeholder groups Maintaining and monitor governance processes across the programme, to ensure effective controls and visibility Liaising with the programme manager and change manager within the programme to identify and track progress Tracking progress against key milestones and managing key risks, issues & dependencies Job Requirements: Previous PMO experience Knowledge and experience of delivering projects, including specific project experience in transformation Excellent communications skills Experience and or knowledge of a recognised project management qualification (Prince II / APM) and MSP would be useful Knowledge of working on agile programmes Ability to work cross functionally to understand programmes and their impacts Excellent use of MS Office applications e.g. Excel, MS Project, including great PowerPoint skills Knowledge of the retail sector would be an advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Details: Company: Marks and Spencers Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Manchester, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
