Job Description: Our Customer Analytics office is seeking an Advisor, Analytics (Business Intelligence and Reporting) to join the team. The Advisor, Analytics will design, develop and maintain best-in-class reporting framework and interactive dashboards for enterprise-wide consumption of customer insights. This individual will also identify opportunities for increasing ridership and revenue, and work in a high-performing, diverse team feeding data insights to decision-makers across the organization. Job Responsibilities: Supports the Customer Analytics, Manager, the Customer Insights and Marketing team Develops dashboards, reports and creates presentations in a format that effectively communicates the analysis to the target audience Extracts data from relational databases (using SQL), or Hadoop environments (leveraging PySpark or SparkR) Assists the team in presenting key findings and recommendations to business decision-makers Works with Marketing, Operations, and PRESTO to develop analytics Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements on time-sensitive requests, and develop easily consumable reports Works independently as the subject matter expert on all interactive and ad-hoc reporting frameworks for the Customer Analytics team Generates recurring/ad-hoc reporting packages and scorecards on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the executive leadership Detail-oriented, with ability to simplify complex information for a non-technical audience Works with Marketing, I&IT and other key business stakeholders to integrate customer data sources Effectively communicates customer insights and commentary on ridership and fare revenue performance/trends, and customer behaviour Develops back-end connections to diverse data sources and corresponding front-end visualizations for holistic customer insights reporting Produces intuitive and comprehensive PowerBI reporting dashboards by leveraging different forms of structured and unstructured data sources – including managing dashboards, data refresh, and access settings for published dashboards Thoughtfully and clearly articulates analytical trends, insights, and recommendations Contributes to the maintenance and enhancement of data governance, data quality and related policies Maintains high level of understanding of internal and external data platforms, with an ability to strategically integrate with appropriate reporting platforms Has a passion for continuous learning, and identifies best practices to help increase ridership and revenue Job Requirements: Experience in working with customer behaviour, customer segmentation and profiling preferred Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Intermediate/advanced level expertise in data manipulation through Python, Power Query and MS Excel Proficiency in Python/R, Power BI, including experience with distributed database and complex data sets Minimum two years of experience in end-to-end development, online hosting and maintenance of Power BI reporting frameworks Minimum three (3) years of experience in data analytics related work function(s) with at least two (2) years of experience in building interactive Power BI dashboards Completion of a degree in Math or Statistics (Data Analytics/Data Science), Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline – or a combination of education deemed equivalent Basic experience with cloud technologies (AWS/ MS Azure / GCP) preferred Job Details: Company: Metrolinx Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Toronto, ON, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
