Job Description:

The Business Architecture & Excellence (BA&E) team within Microsoft Solutions – Support Services is looking for a Director of Strategy for our Digital Support Sales Programs. The Director will drive the development and evolution of our Support Services solutions in partnership with our key stakeholders in the Offerings and other Solution Area teams. As part of a broader team, you will be the key to create and successfully land this strategic sales approach and enable the business growth of Support Services around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights on changes to field sales alignment and marketing motions to optimize our Digital Sales positioning and execution
  • Enable success of Digital Sales Engines across segments
  • Drive Support Services Business rhythm relative to the Digital Support engine(s)
  • Multiply impact through relevant and related Solution Area-aligned initiatives to improve positioning across Microsoft Solutions
  • Be the voice of the field, partners and customers providing insights through key forums and channels to maximize institutional knowledge and organizational agility across sales, marketing, customer success, partner and offering teams
  • Partner across teams to define Digital Selling KPI’s, programs and initiatives
  • Deliver results across segments and geographies and be accountable for business performance related to Digital Support Sales programs
  • Define a cross segment digital sales strategy and plan in partnership with segments and MS Solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent business intelligence skills, solid familiarity in working with sales tools and reports
  • Excellent internal and external communications skills are required (written, verbal/presentation)
  • Ability to influence strategies that cross organizational boundaries to achieve broad business goals, and drive commitment across non-direct reporting teams
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in an ambiguous and changing environment

Qualification & Experience:

  • 10+ years of distinguished experience in sales and/or GTM roles
  • Experience in sales, value selling, challenger sales methods, and deep knowledge of Enterprise selling and field sales organization a plus.
