Job Description:

The Human Health and Performance (HHP) Directorate at NASA Johnson Space Center seeks a highly skilled candidate to serve as the Data Integration Manager (DIM). This position is responsible for creating a data management strategy and governance plan that facilitates the searchability of existing data as well as providing a structure for which new data will conform. The DIM provides data management solutions for data integrity, security, availability, storage, access, quality, and validity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversight of the data integration architecture for application and data teams; orchestration of data related services across HHP including applications, databases, storage, access and availability and quality objectives.
• Duties described below are at the full-performance level. Duties assigned at a lower grade level will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
• Oversee key data deliveries from researchers, customers and partners to ensure data deliveries are on-time, within the expected scope and aligned with the expected standards and formats (including metadata) per the Data Submission Agreements.
• Partner with Application, Data and Infrastructure architects to deliver best in class data solutions that meet the desired and future needs of the HHP organization while ensuring data integrity, security, and validity.
• Define standards for enterprise application integrations and for the master plan for data management and data handling which includes authoritative data sources.
• Establishes policy for HHP data governance, data deliveries, data standards, and data access which include both internal and external collaborations.
• Gather insights and setting strategies for data for several disparate systems into a comprehensive functional set of requirements. This includes management and insight of data management plans, service agreements, delivery standards, definitions.

Job Requirements:

• You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.
