Job Description:

An adult animated series with a balance of comedy, drama, and action. Aesthetically, we are more grounded in reality and less cartoony than many adult animated series. Although we are using a rig-based Harmony pipeline, we still lean towards capturing moments of hand-drawn animation to prevent the show from feeling too symbol-based.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate 2D assets and effects to be used in compositing fixes
• Rendering files to accurate tech specs to ensure delivery in a clear and organized manner
• Effects animation revisions and/or additional effects animation
• Provide technical solutions
• Composite and build whole scenes and sequences in-house as needed
• Character animation revisions and/or new character animation
• Provide design and paint environments when requested by creative leads
• Work within Toon Boom Harmony project files to apply animation fixes including 2D effects animation, character animation, overlay effects, background paint/fixes, footage correction and editing
• Coordinating, troubleshooting, and communicating with overseas studio when appropriate

Job Requirements:

• Competent drawing skills and some experience in traditional animation a plus
• Deep knowledge of After Effects, ToonBoom Harmony, and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of Shotgun a plus
• 3-4 years previous episodic workflow experience
