Job Description:

The Ecommerce Assistant Trade Manager (ATM) is responsible for analysing and reporting overall performance of a specific set of categories online. The 1st point of contact for Buying & Merchandising teams the ATM works closely with core Buying & Merchandising teams to deliver long term plans for product launch, promotions and features online. The ATM works collaboratively with the wider Ecommerce team to improve and accelerate sales and profit performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Ecommerce Trade Coordinator in taking accountability for the deliver of their roles, responsibilities and contribution the business
  • Responsible for analysing and reporting on a specific set of categories online
  • Review weekly trade figures proposing appropriate trade and commercial actions to the Trading Manager
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and trading actions are undertaken by you and your team
  • Understand the key drivers in our sales and profits, and are responsible for driving performance
  • First point of contact for Buying & Merchandising teams and keep up to date with current product, trends, customer insights
  • Liaise with relevant teams to deliver planned product launches, promotions and features on site (decks)
  • Oversee accurate setup of promotions, working with IT & customer care to test
  • Report stock availability to the business, highlighting any issues with depth and width of teams allocations
  • Successfully manage cross category plans using analytics, customer insight and trade insight to drive EBITDA growth
  • Provide web trading performance reporting and analysis to the digital management team
  • Prepare and lead regular trade updates and feedback sessions to identify opportunity and execute plans
  • Conduct accurate trend and sales analysis and forecasting
