Job Description:

The Sr. Analyst, International Transportation is responsible for supporting the International Transportation team, providing support for outsourced transportation providers as required. Specific responsibilities include day-to-day support with 3PL/ocean and drayage carriers including the review and approval of payments for services. Assisting with special projects within the department to support business needs. Provides individual support to any group member as needed. Works with internal groups such as supply chain, merchandising, inventory management and IT to facilitate special buys, back-to-school, year-end program buys, and system enhancements as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Distribution of inbound forecasts / market updates / ad hoc requests
• Inventory Management / Quality Assurance / Supply Chain Field + Facility Support: tracking and tracing, training, ad hoc requests
• Asia Consolidation Plans / Exception Reports
• Daily deconsolidation facility operations for both east and west coasts; inbound and outbound flow management, OS&D, contingency management, ad hoc projects / requests
• Direct Import Vendor Lead Time and Replenishment Schedule set up requests
• Ocean Management: space requests / escalation, in-land rail monitoring / (ERS) requests, contingency management
• Drayage Management: mitigating demurrage / per diem / bob tail cost, contingency management of which includes damaged trailers, containers, chassis, and / or broken seals

• Requires interpretation and determines the proper course of action for variety of situations
  (CPA, Etc.) Multi tasker, organized, analytical
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent negotiating skills to deal with diverse personalities
• Ability to travel
• Skills and Ability: • Computer and software skills
• Area of Study: Transportation, Logistics, Warehouse Supervisor or Supply Chain analytics.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English both verbally and in the written word
• Ability to analyze data/information and make appropriate recommendations
• Multi-tasking and managing deadlines

Qualification & Experience:

• Years of Experience: Minimum 4 years in transportation or related field
• Type of Experience: International and domestic transportation, Supply Chain related field
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
