Pembina Careers – Terminal Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Redwater facility is recruiting for a Supervisor, Terminal Operations to join the team. This position reports to the Redwater Terminal Manager in the Natural Gas Liquids Business Unit, (NBU) part of Pembina’s Facilities Division.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support “Key Performance Indicators” for targets established for the Operating teams;
• Support compliance to terminal agreements;
• Provide leadership encouraging growth aligned with our corporate vision;
• Supervise, coordinate, and coach team members in troubleshooting operational issues to develop solutions;
• Establish and maintain internal and external peer relationships;
• Provide written and verbal reports as required;
• Lead troubleshooting processes;
• Support the development of the annual operating budget;
• Support the development and application of the terminal operations strategy for the Redwater Facility;
• Review and respond to daily Operations log;
• Provide advice, guidance, and approval for team members regarding professional development;
• Support processes to ensure incident management and compliance by the Terminal Team;
• Lead and encourage teamwork with all members of the Terminals Group;
• Communicate goals and objectives to appropriate teams;
• Monitor prioritization of maintenance activities;

Job Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and demonstrated aptitude working with other business-related computer programs and applications;
• Previous experience with SAP;
• Effective written and verbal communication including a proven ability to interface positively with internal and external stakeholders; and
• Understanding of terminal operations;
• Emergency response experience;
• A minimum of 6 – 10 years of related industry experience;
• Previous experience successfully leading a team;
