Job Description:

The ICC Business Analyst is the customer service desk for Integrated Change Control, in a line of progression towards product owner and the ICC Lead. You will learn a product management methodology by providing excellent customer service, engaging your brain to solve problems, and supporting the team to implement future enhancements. You will learn business analysis methodology by utilizing TO-ICC data to understand trends, plan improvements, and glean insights as we strive to realize program benefits of Integrated Change Control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a delightful customer experience for all users across process and system functions in Electric Operations, and across the company (Finance, Enterprise Project Management, Enterprise Continuous Improvement, and occasionally peers in Gas Ops.)
  • Propose updates to the TO-ICC Procedure, to ensure alignment among the TO-ICC process as described, our systems as implemented, associated EPM Project Management Standards, as well as an evolution toward project management best practices.
  • Create new improvement areas by receiving and understanding stakeholder pain-points and process gaps, suggest new solutions, determine feasibility with the TO-ICC Product Owner and development team, bring a recommendation to leadership, and then support testing and implementation.
  • Updates end-to-end process training materials with guidance from TO-ICC Product Owner and TO-ICC Lead to better support business needs as part of TO-ICC Product Management Methodology and team workflow.
  • Provide feedback to other Business Process Analysts including the TO-ICC Product Owner and development team.
  • Support Enterprise Project Management (EPM) standards, and work with EPM and Project Finance as needed to support TO-ICC users with EPC-level Major Projects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of all types of technology that Electric Operation PMs and PCAs must work with during project lifecycle to facilitate seamless integration points, reduce administrative burden, and delight our users!

Job Requiremets:

  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop process solutions
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Project (or other project management tools), and Visio (or similar process mapping tools)
  • Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) or project management skills and experience to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams
  • Agile Project Management training or work experience
  • Knowledge, appreciation, and consistent usage of the Oxford comma
  • Knowledge and understanding of key process drivers affecting business results
  • Interest in new systems and methodologies to support PG&E’s digital transformation
  • Passion for providing terrific customer service / user support and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Job-related experience, 2 years
  • Experience implementing systems which included people, processes, and technologies
  • Experience in reporting, communications, or presentations, written and verbal
