Purolator Canada Careers – Service Directory Specialist

Job Description:

The Service Directory Specialist will support all Service Directory activities including maintaining and updating our core platform, performing UAT testing, supporting product launches and performing support analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support all activities related to internal and external communication for implemented service changes
• Provide support for inquiries from various teams and investigate, validate or provide data as required
• Support year-end activities including Peak planning and communications
• Participate in all UAT for Service Directory for all Corporate projects
• Support Freight and Courier Service Directory activities on an ongoing basis
• Maintain databases and align postal code classification as per internal processes
• Work with cross-functional team to develop business cases for service changes and implement them upon management approval
• Process and implement all service level changes in a timely manner

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience working with SAP considered an asset
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, to yield quality output
• Motivated to take initiative, and the ability to identify anomalies and solve problems
• A creative mind, with the ability to think outside the box
• 1-2 years business experience in test case creation and execution (UAT in Jira, Quality Center or similar)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel and Access
• Knowledge of geography would be an asset.
• 1-2 years business experience in a data management capacity, demonstrating high levels of responsibility in a fast-paced environment
• Equivalent to completion of university, specializing in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
