Job Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the success of cross-functional activities by collaborating with a team of members from various levels of management;
• Identify and lead the implementation of small to medium scale solutions to improve productivity and service while reducing unit costs;
• All other related tasks.
  Support the testing and implementation of new technologies, methodologies and processes;
• Oversee and implement multiple projects with realistic and accurate scheduling, resource requirements and activities;
• Provide project management support, participate in the layout and design of equipment, design and verify processes, optimize processes, and perform statistical analysis to obtain trend profiles and forecasts;
• Evaluate, analyze, and project volume to support recommendations for medium and long term projects requiring significant investments;

Job Requirements:

• Ability to recognize problems at their source;
• Bilingualism (French and English) an asset;
• Autonomous, ability to adapt to change;
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a car.
• Flexibility required for occasional work (project study and implementation) on different shifts;
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel);
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization;
• Ability to effectively implement change and promote teamwork in a unionized work environment;
• 1 to 3 years of experience in process improvement, productivity gains and logistics An engineering degree (industrial engineering or logistics preferred)
• Member in good standing with the OIQ an asset;
• Experience in transportation or logistics an asset;
