Job Responsibilities:

• Complete daily Yard Checks and daily Chock Checks
  Liaison between management, lead hands, shunters, carriers, drivers, other depots / facilities and Linehaul control
• Control and establish accurate arrival & departure times of all linehaul units (TMS data entry and follow up).
• Maintain communication with all drivers, shunters, LHC and carriers
• Engage management, sales and customer service to communicate any delays and aid in recovery actions.
• Other duties as assigned
• Liaison between Advise carriers, management, shunters, drivers, Linehaul control of issues/problems and maintain progress reports (includes delay communication and plans for inbound and outbound linehauls).
• Complete related paperwork, reports as well as constant update of yard positions for view.
• Assign equipment to Shunters, LH / city bulk drivers and carriers including adhoc additions for volume.
• Monitor yard access and inventory of all inbound and outbound trailers.
• Act as central communication point and lead communication with network team.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of local linehaul and trailer movement as well as inter-province lanes.
• Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Excellent aptitude with numbers and technology
• Strong motivational ability
• Must be a TEAM Player and Ability to work under pressure a must
