Job Description:
Reporting to the Corporate Human Resources Services Lead, the Corporate HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Corporate HR Services team in execution of our centralized service support for head office in collaboration with the Corporate HR Services Lead and HR Services Partner. This role will provide accurate, timely and responsive completion of HR transactions and support as aligned to the Corporate HR Services model. The ideal person will champion change, be passionate about growing & developing, and be a resilient self-starter in a fast-paced, growing environment with the ability to learn quickly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Auditing activities to ensure compliance to set processes and standards
- SAP reporting
- Assist HR Services team with Disability Claims Management
- Act as first level support for the Corporate HR in box
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of administrative systems to support the Corporate HR Services team (monthly reports, employee files)
- Lead the Creation and Maintenance of employee files in electronic file system (Document Management System “ DMS” )
- Take an active role in documenting existing and new HR processes
- Maintain HR group distribution Lists
- Other duties as assigned
- Assist with special projects/initiatives
- HR onboarding activities
- Provide SAP support for daily transactions
- Support the HR Services team on the daily delivery of their mandate
Job Requirements:
- Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of customer focus, communicates effectively, collaborates, instils trust, self-development
- Post-secondary HR related Degree/Diploma/Certificate or equivalent HR related experience
- 1 to 3 years demonstrated experience working in an HR Coordinator or Assistant role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team
- Strong Computer skills – MS Office, experience with SAP is a definite asset
- Strong customer service orientation – ability to effectively communicate HR initiatives, functions, policies, and procedures
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands
- Maintains high level of confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
