Job Description:
The Technical Support Specialist – Voice and Network will work with the IT Services Manager and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation and support of the Business Communications and Network CORE Services. Working with vendors, internal architects, and support teams to ensure the critical service availability targets are met and customer service levels are outstanding. This is a hybrid position with both technical and business components.
Job Responsibilities:
- Log, validate, diagnose, and maintain user issues on the full range of cloud products and applications used
- Work with Vendors and other stakeholders to ensure SLAs and Objectives are met.
- Provide Support to Network WAN/LAN/WIFI
- Support users through omnichannel tickets raised via portal using proper Incident Management processes and procedures
- Mange interactions by following procedures outlined by the agreed service levels
- Demonstrate excellent customer service in all user and stakeholder interactions while contributing to continuous improvement of the process
- Provide users with a solution through information gathering, technical and analytical troubleshooting, route or escalate the user to the appropriate resolution group
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Technical knowledge of contact centre and voice systems
- Organized, flexible, collaborative and responsive to escalations
- CompTIA A+ required
- Ability to work as part of a team and individual contributor.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- CompTIA Network+ an asset
- ITIL V4 Foundation required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in VOIP/ network support
- Strong problem solving
- CompTIA Cloud+ an asset
- Time management, attention to detail and process oriented
