Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute work orders schedules, monitor schedule attainment and follow-up significant concerns with management on daily basis
  Ensures safety rules are being followed by maintenance staff members and contractors. Audit contractor’s safety protocols, credentials, and site before and after the work is completed
  Manage capacity planning and preventative maintenance scheduling
  Manage Maintenance planning and scheduling activities within Ontario region
  Assist the inventory team and optimization of inventory. Perform inventory audits and count on regular basis
  Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure targets are met for maintenance activities
  Working closely with millwrights and electrician
  Planning, scheduling and creating work orders and stage parts for kitting
  Provide daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports to ensure resources/inventory are available to meet target KPI
  Liaise with Maintenance Supervisor to maintain up to date system files regarding new or changing data
  Continuously evaluate and adjust inventory buffers based on demand variability, desired customer service levels and process capabilities
  Identify, report and recommend solutions on capacity restrictions for the purpose of proactive planning and elimination of bottlenecks that affect capacity planning
  Take initiative to minimize overall system obsolescence exposure. Use problem solving methodology to determine root cause(s) and prevent recurrence of materials related issues
  Review maintenance requirements far enough in advance to detect potential problems in meeting those requirements. This process must occur in a timeframe that allows for corrective actions to be taken in order to minimize the impact to Operation

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast paced, growth environment with many competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Knowledge of CMMS software (Maximo or similar) an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility of work hours required to deal with problems after-hours or during weekend
• MMP (Maintenance Management Professional) certification would be an asset
• Some hands on work would be required to move, organise parts. Forklift licence would be an asset
• Extremely detailed oriented and accurate

• Proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Technical / Trade licence as technologist in mechanical or electrical field
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
• Strong skills with Microsoft word and excel
• G-license and vehicle
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in manufacturing, processing or logistics
