Job Description: This role is located at McCook, IL. This Scientist/Engineer will be responsible for a broad range of projects related to catalyst development and scale-up. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical support to UOP?s catalyst manufacturing plants Communicate results to cross-functional teams Stay current with patent and open literature as it relates to development projects Be an active contributor to the department?s safety efforts and objectives Lead programs in the new product development (NPD) process to scale-up new catalysts from research prototype to commercial scale including bench, semi-works and manufacturing trials Interface with multiple UOP departments including Business, Development, Pilot Plants, Analytical, and Advanced Characterization to ensure robust catalyst development programs Job Requirements: Industrial design talent Global mindset, cross cultural agility and resourcefulness Willingness to learn new technologies Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work Creativity Experience in engineering or related field Good project management and prioritization skills Qualification & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science Minimum 2 years of industry experience (petroleum and catalysts) Experience with aspects of technology development and converting needs into a solution Job Details: Company: Honeywell Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: McCook, Illinois, USA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
