Job Description: We're looking for a highly motivated Lead Developer who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across the organisation and externally. The role involves management of a small team of four Developers and a Test Analyst (two onshore and two offshore), planning and allocating work and operating as a point of escalation for the team to maximise internal resources with high demands. Job Responsibilities: Undertaking regular code reviews to ensure efficiency, accuracy and adherence to best practice Developing roadmaps communicating future development activity Planning and driving software construction activities Understanding client requirements from collecting data to analysis and problem resolution, fulling identifying client needs Providing technical expertise to enable configuration of software for systems testing and collaboration with technical teams to agree integration plans Performance management of direct reports, providing support and guidance and facilitating effective working relationships Having technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development and programming Adopting and adapting appropriate software development methods, tools and techniques Supplier management involving reviewing supplier performance data and supporting on the resolution of supplier related incidents Defining, monitoring and reporting on systems development projects supporting the organisation's objectives and plans Job Requirements: Experience of translating business requirements into technical specifications and buildable solutions Ability to take ownership of software solution delivery and improvements (e.g Salesforce, Liferay, Talend) Experience of performing code reviews Knowledge of Java and general websikills, using SOAP or REST web services/API's Experience of designing and delivering systems and integrations Formal qualifications in Agile or SDLC would be desirable Degree educated in Computing, Data Science or Mathematics or equivalent experience Previous experience working in a developer role and in a senior capacity Job Details: Company: RSPCA Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Cardiff, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
