Job Description:

As Photography Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day to day running of the photography and videography team and in-house studios, as well as the end to end ecommerce studio process.

You’ll provide the team with leadership, creative inspiration, guidance and support. You will also help identify opportunities to improve tools, systems and processes.

You’ll have a proven background in managing a studio team and excellent knowledge of e-commerce and editorial photography. and be able to translate this to produce high quality, inviting fashion imagery for our onsite product pages and digital channels. You will also be responsible for the end to end process of ensuring that deadlines are met and all new styles are live on the site within our set timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the day to day running of the studio team and all in-house content production
  • Lead the creation (and continual development) of the product photography and videography
  • Schedule of in house creative production and ensure studio time is managed effectively and timetable is kept up to date
  • Organise the team on daily/weekly tasks and follow up throughout to ensure deadlines can be met
  • Ensure company standards and guidelines are met consistently by you and your team
  • Communicate regularly with the team
  • Organise regular photography meetings to plan upcoming weeks and review previous weeks
  • Review and maintain the studio spaces, constantly looking at ways we can improve them/utilise them better
  • Work closely with the team to ensure all photography guides are maintained and updated, and communicate changes to fulltime and freelance team members
  • Oversee the studio budget with the Head of Marketing
  • Act as point of contact for daily trouble shooting in the photography team
  • Ensuring direction from the senior team is being executed day to day
  • Deliver detailed weekly reporting on content production
  • Ensure the team are always following correct protocol and processes ensuring quality and highest standard of work throughout

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of managing a studio team and working to tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience of ecommerce and editorial photography
  • Sound knowledge of the end to end eCommerce studio process, through styling, shooting, re-touch to final upload.
  • Confidence in meeting daily/weekly targets and handling high volume of product
  • The ability to work in a fast paced studio environment, adaptable and responsive to rapid change
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • A proactive, forward thinker with good use of initiative
  • A perfectionist with exceptional attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Experience and/or knowledge of shoes and accessories would be an advantage.
  • Experience in video would be an advantage.
