Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to join our Property Project Management Team and support the delivery of the design and construction of New Trade Counters and Refurbishment of existing Trade Counters. Reporting to the Senior Property Project Manager you will have full ownership of all projects developing non trading and trading sites. This will include all aspects of Scoping, Design, Pre-construction, and Construction Management. Ownership of all aspects of the budget and financial management of the project. Stakeholder and Supplier Management along with ensuring all relevant Legislation is adhered to. You are responsible for developing new initiatives as required and identifying potential and actual blockers and solutions to enhance both newly acquired and trading properties in the estate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Estates & Acquisitions, Legal and maintenance teams to deliver the site on time, to standard & within budget
- Ownership of trading and non-trading development projects signed off regarding Scoping, Design and Construction Management across the full project lifecycle.
- Management of all aspects of site Health & Safety from design through to construction within Company Policy and to standard of CDM regulations including site audits
- Providing a Capex /business case document considering benefits and detail of proposed design, construction, and delivery within programme timescales ready for Director sign off
- Ensuring that relevant and current legislation including The Building Regulations and Planning are adhered to liaising with relevant departments internally and externally as required
- Delivering sites that maximise commercial opportunities and customer experience within specification & budget
- Workstream Management of delivery with Principal Contractor, 3rd parties including internal Screwfix Departments and external providers
Job Requierment:
- Is competent in Microsoft 365- IT literate
- Proven experience of managing people/teams and influencing workstreams and 3rd parties
- Strong communication skills with all levels
- Has a working knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations
- Proven Project Management experience
- Proven problem solving & decision-making skills with a proactive approach
- Understands how Retail Operations interact with Store Fit outs and impacts
- Proven ability to work alone or part of a team
- Must have a full and valid UK driving licence
