Job Description:
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Health, the Director is responsible for leading digital health strategic projects within the Health and Wellness space. In particular, the Director will lead components of the strategic planning and execution of a high priority enterprise initiative: PC Health, a customer facing health & wellness platform. PC Health is the digital front door to health for all Canadians, empowering users to better access, navigate and manage their healthcare needs. The Director will lead key areas of the PC Health roadmap, with a specific focus on booking service capabilities, enhancing and expanding upon the existing experience. The Director will also be accountable for key business vendor partner relationships, and manage a cross-functional product team both within the enterprise and across key strategic partnerships. The Director also work closely with our pharmacy and healthcare business leads, as well as the operations, data & analytics and information technology teams, to identify, structure and guide digital health opportunities into viable solutions. In this capacity the Director will lead collaborations and use customer insights and analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of innovative digital health initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Make strategic decisions based on complex data and information
- Be the subject matter expert in digital health, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments
- Be accountable for execution and meeting product roadmap timelines and targets
- Drive user acquisition and engagement through product roadmap decisions, using customer insights and user feedback wherever possible
- Lead day-to-day coordination of large cross-functional, cross-enterprise digital health projects and initiatives, resolving issues as needed
- Identify strategic opportunities in the digital space related to pharmacy and healthcare and support build out and implementation
- Develop and manage detailed execution plans across cross-enterprise, cross-functional teams both centrally and with key partners
- Focus on technical integrations to PC Health that drive enterprise value
- Own and manage components of the PC Health product roadmap and other relevant vendor partner relationships
Job Requirements:
- University degree with a concentration in Business and / or Health Sciences, preferred
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, combined with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals
- 5+ years’ experience in strategic planning and execution in the healthcare sector preferred
- Experience specifically with service booking platforms and systems an asset
- Ability to understand healthcare regulatory frameworks and healthcare ecosystem
- Strong background in digital health, product management and technical execution is required
- 7+ years’ experience in digital health product, direct app experience is a bonus
- Ability to be proactive on deliverables
- Ability to work within a dynamic rapidly growing and evolving environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent power point and excel skills
