Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate promotional execution with merchandizing, suppliers and distribution teams
• Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide buying team with the right information to plan to meet that demand
• Track projections and recommend appropriate action to achieve service level metrics
• Accountable for ensuring forecast accuracy
• Propose sales forecast based on observations, knowledge and assessments; collaborate with partners to refine forecasts
• Identify forecast accuracy root causes and refine process to ensure continuous improvement of the overall process
• Support the company’s long term strategy and inventory reduction while maintaining high Customer Service level metrics
• Coordinate seasonal forecast and plans with merchandizing, suppliers and distribution teams
• Develop reports to determine priorities and areas of opportunity and confirm/communicates results; creates ad hoc reports as necessary
• Responsible for understanding the demand for respective categories

Job Requirements:

• Ocado System Platform testing, implementation, training and adoption
• Work closely with Category Merchants to review forecasting results and to provide forecast recommendations on opportunities on their categories
• Extensive knowledge of Excel (intermediate)
• 3-5 years relevant experience in forecast management, statistical analysis, replenishment or logistics
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid Fresh or Grocery experience
• Engage and maintain interest in personal growth and/or career development
• Work with Replenishment, Category Management, Marketing, Process Optimization and Merchandising Services to understand forecast and trends
