Job Description: Are you looking to put your accounting expertise to work on a collaborative team? You’ll prepare and review complex entries for crude accounting and providing analysis and insight to support financial reporting as you help progress our digital transformation Job Responsibilities: Understand design of our key processes Support data gathering process for key accounting adjustments and disclosures Prepare monthly performance management reports for the crude business and effectively communicating economic performance, strategies, and drivers Assist in the implementation of SAP S4 to support requirements for crude accounting and reporting Identify continuous improvement opportunities Execute the crude month end cycle, including entries and analysis related to product costing, inventory, purchase, sales, intercompany transactions, and intercompany profit eliminations Job Requirements: A university degree in finance or accounting Five years of relevant oil and gas experience Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity The ability to work well in a dynamic and ambiguous environment Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in partnering with various business contacts The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a team-based environment that must deliver results within fixed reporting deadlines Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Power BI and Excel and other Microsoft Office programs Proven analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to communicate complex information into meaningful insights Natural curiosity and the ability to the right questions that will help shape strategy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail A professional designation CPA, CFA, with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles A continuous improvement mindset and demonstrated initiative in recommending solutions and identifying improvements to the status quo Job Details: Company: Suncor Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Calgary, AB, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
