Job Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with provincial, private payor and out-of-pocket expenses
• Patient adherence via compliance packaging, reminder tools and web applications
• Create and assist with training programs
• Process prescriptions using TELUS Health Kroll Pharmacy Management Software
• Work with key team members to provide business insights to develop transformative initiatives
• Prescription record management
• Actively work with other team members in the fulfillment of patient prescription needs
• Liaison with prescribers, patients and insurance providers/adjudicators
• Completing Registered Pharmacy Technician duties and prescription verifications as part of daily fulfillment requirements using paperless workflow

Job Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with Provincial College of Pharmacists
• Hold professional liability insurance in accordance with Health Protection Act Bylaws
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong patient communication skills
• Solid understanding of TELUS Health Kroll Pharmacy Management Software
• Technologically savvy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organization skills
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a pharmacy
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Any certifications or education related to the pharmacy industry
• Knowledge of compliance packaging used for medication adherence programs
