Job Description: The Asset Improvement lead will be based in a single asset group in the Asset Operations department. Your responsibility will cover all aspects or business to business marketing to our target audience – predominantly marketing directors, media agencies and the wider advertising industry. Job Responsibilities: Develop an B2B Marketing and Communications strategy for the next 2 years that will drive recovery across the estate and implement this through the integrated team Lead by example, inspiring other colleagues at all levels to recognise and activate appropriate B2B activities in line with TfL’s overarching strategy, promoting a culture of commerciality and proactively telling our business story Manage relationships with Trade Marketing / Business to Business marketing teams with our media / licensing partners ensuring a joined-up approach and opportunities to land messaging are maximised Build an integrated team of subject matter experts and channel owners/managers drawing on their expertise to deliver the strategy Develop and implement a calendar of commercial events and activities: events, webinars, blogposts, award entries, presence at conferences Develop a clear, consistent narrative and tone of voice and personality for the Commercial Media and Partnerships portfolio Job Requirements: Knowledge of brand marketing marketplace: and how media / marketing decisions are made ad influenced including market trends Degree level qualification preferably in business related discipline, ideally supplemented by a business management qualification or equivalent relevant business experience. Relationship management: Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and partners Stakeholder engagement and advocacy: Ability to act in a politically adept and commercially astute manner, to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure buy in and senior stakeholder acceptance, to resolve business conflicts as they occur and to persuasively influence complex and sensitive transactions. Knowledge of social media channels and how best to utilise these for B2B marketing Enterprise and commercial acumen: ability to develop new ideas and put in place a tailored plan to see these ideas through to delivery. Good knowledge and understanding of media landscape; particularly in digital and OOH Proven marketing and communication skills; ability to develop an integrated communications strategy and implementation plan.
