Job Description: You will be responsible for developing and delivering new business strategies to grow income from corporate partnerships, corporate events and sponsorships. This will involve researching prospects, cultivating a pipeline, making contact and building relationships, presenting a compelling case for support, successfully pitching and presenting the work of the Museum, negotiating and closing the deal and establishing mutually beneficial partnerships providing exceptional account management which sustains these relationships in the long-term. Job Responsibilities: Devise new and imaginative strategies to engage businesses and maximise their potential for support across a range of Museum campaigns, programmes and initiatives, identifying new opportunities for building corporate support Support the development of annual Development team targets, forecasts and budgets. Implement reporting methods to track progress against agreed targets, milestones and KPIs, preparing regular reports to be shared with the wider Development team, Museum leadership team and board Oversee the Museum's portfolio of corporate partnerships ensuring that contractual obligations with partners are met and that the benefits of each funder is maximised according to agreed objectives, managing partner expectations from their association with the Museum Oversee the delivery of the flagship annual London Transport fundraising dinner and auction with our corporate industry partners Work with the Development Manager – Trusts and Foundations to write and manage grant proposals to corporate trusts and foundations Work with the Development team to create and deliver communications and events to engage corporate prospects and partners in the work of the Museum, delivering on business objectives and maintain sustained support Research companies and cultivate a pipeline of prospects with good reason to support the work of the Museum, undertaking due diligence into the ethical viability of all new leads and prospects in accordance with our fundraising policy Develop compelling case for support, presentations, proposals and applications agreeing partner involvement in Museum content or programme with Museum teams and colleagues, negotiating the relationship, agreeing partnership objectives, closing the deal and preparing a legally binding contract for each new partner Work alongside colleagues to contribute to the overall strategy and success of the Development team embedding a culture of fundraising across London Transport Museum Job Requirements: Ability to work under pressure, prioritise both strategically and operationally and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Confident relationship builder able to build personal and organisational relationships at all levels Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising legislation and compliance Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with persuasion and credibility and to influence at a senior level Knowledge of researching and approaching potential corporate income sources, building and maintaining a prospect pipeline and securing income from corporate partnerships and corporate events Knowledge of the opportunities available for arts and cultural fundraisers, and an understanding of where London Transport Museum can find its niche within a competitive market Computer and database literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office Interest in the transport sector and the issues affecting the transport industry Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated Knowledge and experience of developing fundraising strategy Attention to detail, editing and proof-reading skills Qualification & Experience: Experience of planning, implementing and monitoring budgets to agreed deadlines Excellent database management skills and awareness and ability to act on data insight A track record of delivering against agreed targets, timescales and objectives, of managing multiple projects, and of working with internal and external colleagues to achieve goals Experience of working in a new business fundraising or business development role, a proven record of successful income generation and of account managing relationships Experience of event management and delivery Experience of liaison with corporate, funding and political stakeholders at a senior level Experience of managing others including direct report/s, consultants, volunteers and others, for whom there is no line management responsibility Job Details: Company: TFL Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Dagenham, GB Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here careers-trivia.net
