Job Description:

The successful candidate will have an active program of excellent research. They will be expected to teach four courses in Anthropological Archaeology at UBC (see course calendar at https://www.calendar.ubc.ca/vancouver/index.cfm). In particular, the successful applicant should be able to teach ARCL 228 Forensic Anthropology, as well as at least two of the following courses: ANTH202B (Issues in Archaeology [Open Topic]); ARCL 405 Archaeological and Anthropological Mapping; ANTH418 Anthropological Statistics; and ARCL 424 Practising Archaeology and the Management of Cultural Resources. There may also be an opportunity to develop and deliver an upper level archaeology or biological anthropology course in their area of expertise.
