One in three Canadians will experience a brain-related condition such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Epilepsy, Stroke or Concussion, in their lifetime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Involvement in Quality Improvement and/or research projects as part of the Krembil Nursing Awards
• Nursing fellowship opportunities through the Collaborative Academic Practice within UHN
• Involvement in unit based councils to implement change
• Obtain experience with rare and unique patient population and interventions in our Krembil program

Job Requirements:

• Completion of an Acute Care Course preferred; would consider sponsoring a qualified applicant through the Acute Care Certificate Program
• BScN degree preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Flexible and able to work effectively and efficiently within a interdisciplinary patient care team
• Coronary Course 1 (CC1) preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision making skills
• Neurovascular experience preferred
• Cardiac monitoring skills preferred
• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• CNA Neuroscience Certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required
