Job Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulation and laboratory procedures; IATA certified, asset
  • Client service orientated, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand
  • Up to 1 year clinical research experience required
  • At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree, or recognized equivalent, in a health or science-related discipline
  • Prior clinical trials experience in coordinating pharmaceutical studies required
  • Knowledge of research regulations and guidelines, such as, ICH/GCP, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki, CRF, EDC, etc.
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • 3 years of clinical and/or professional experience
  • Experience working with patients with neurological disorders an asset
  • Certification as a Clinical Research Professional preferred
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (E.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Able to operate effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent decision making, problem recognition and problem solving skills
  • Venipuncture experience required
