Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our HR team as a Resourcing Partner on a 12 month FTC with a mixture of remote working and being in our Support Centre in Worksop. As our Resourcing Partner you’ll manage the end to end recruitment process for our Support Centre; ensuring the wilko brand is represented, our stakeholders are engaged throughout the process and our candidates experience a positive journey no matter the outcome. The role will challenge, influence and take a strategic planning approach to ensure we make the right commercial hiring decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and consolidation of reporting and reporting requested by the business including Resourcing Dashboards, and ad hoc requests, ensuring all processes are adhered to.
  • Establishing and managing local and national third-party relationships such as colleges, recruitment partnerships and agencies to build recruitment links for future opportunities.
  • Working in collaboration with our stakeholders to advise around external and internal appointments and identifying recruitment needs, building and maintaining a talent pool. Focusing on significant cost reduction, prioritising direct sourcing methods and looking to internal succession to promote internal development.
  • Using all available attraction tools to proactively recruit a strong pipeline of new starters to the business and deliver against time to hire and direct hire targets, using a suite of direct sourcing tools including but not limited to head hunting, social media and networking.
  • Working alongside our Apprenticeship team to build links with universities and colleges to support future talent planning.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador and the main point of contact for candidates applying to the partnered areas, ensuring that they have a positive experience from application to joining us which then encourages them to view Wilko as an employer of choice.
  • Establishing recruitment marketing campaigns to attract great talent, thinking outside of the box and challenging the status quo.

Job Requirements:

For this role we need someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience in a recruitment role, ideally having worked in an agency and in-house retail environment, when it comes to multi tasking you’ll be an expert, along with ensuring processes are followed and having a keen eye for detail so all administration is done accordingly. Your approach to interviewing will be detailed but with a manner that portrays the wilko brand, creating a warm environment with the candidates feeling that they’ve had a good chat with someone they’ve always known. Building great working relationships will be second nature along with experience of an ATS and keeping records accurate and updated.
