Job Description:

The Worldwide DEX Team is looking for an experienced Engineer. As a Engineer, you will need to review technical , develop and enhance systems and pipelines supporting process optimization in reporting, planning, and controlling activities in EU Engineering Services, as well as integrate in-house infrastructure with partner systems. You should be an expert in the architecture of warehousing solutions, using multiple platforms and tools. In addition, you should have strong analytical skills and excel in the , creation, management, and business use of large sets, combining raw information from different sources. Similarly, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable extract, transform, and load () processes to support the rapidly growing and dynamic business demand for , and use it to deliver the as a service, which will have an immediate influence on day-to-day business decision making. Moreover, you will create automated alarming and dashboards to monitor integrity. Finally yet importantly, you should have very good communication skills and ability to adjust communication to different groups of stakeholders, collaborating with architects, BI engineers, scientists, business analysts/managers, to evaluate business needs and objectives in order to set up the best management environment. Overall, you will be the subject matter expert for the structures and usage, while striving for efficiency by aligning systems with business goals.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience in working and delivering end-to-end projects independently.
• Experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data and experience with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
• Experience in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (Ruby, Python, Java)

Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, and Web Science, or related certification
• Knowledge of systems engineering to optimize integration of service/software solutions with infrastructure
• Proven track record of applying engineering for enabling business analytics (Engineering, Operations, Finance, etc.)
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for the best practices on engineering
• Experience using business intelligence reporting tools ( QuickSight, Power BI, , etc.)
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
