Job Description:

Come join a creative team of talented professionals in the Robotics Digital Solutions & Technologies team who build high-performance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing systems that support Amazon Robotics’ current and future growth. Our team is looking for an ERP Application Engineer . The Application Engineer will analyze incoming requests and develop the right technical solution to achieve defined business outcomes. They will own the coding, solution configuration, testing and deployment activities to provide automated and scalable services to the Robotics team. The ideal candidate will draw upon development, operations and application configuration experience, project management, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems. The candidate should drive continuous improvement and collaborate effectively with cross-functional operational teams to solve problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Successfully develop technologies that improve the ERP ecosystem
• Deliver solutions that are testable, maintainable, and efficient
• Make recommendations for future state business processes and solutions that meet or exceed expressed business needs
• Actively support and foster a culture of inclusion
• Automate and simplify team development, test, and operations processes
• Create and maintain documentation as required for business requirements, system configuration, detailed functional design, test plans/test cases, user training and implementation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
• Excellent written, speaking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into technical requirements
• 3+ years SQL, PERL, Java, or related development experience
• 5+ years of experience in the design, configuration, and implementation of ERP technologies

Qualification & Experience:

• 3+ years of SC Planning or Manufacturing experience
• Exposure to Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (P2P) applications
• Hands-on Oracle EBS experience
