Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively orally
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing
• Ability to sort and filter data in an Excel spreadsheet for analysis purposes
• Ability to identify and analyze problems of a financial nature and recommend solutions

Job Requirements:

• Corporate accounting (preparation of monthly or annual financial statements and/or external financial reports);
• Cost estimation/costing;
• Financial management of grants and contributions (e.G review and assessment of funding requests; monitoring of contribution agreements; coordination of payments).
• Internal controls (implementation and/or review of measures and activities that provide reasonable assurance of the effectiveness and efficiency of financial management activities);
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and production of financial reports;
• Financial systems (e.G. Implementation, testing, maintenance, user support and/or training, development of user guides);
• Accounting operations (e.G. Processing accounts payable or receivable; bookkeeping, reconciliation and data verification);
• Internal or external auditing;
• Financial management advisory services (e.G. Make recommendations to improve financial information and/or the financial situation, take corrective action on discrepancies);
