Job Description:

The Analyst Backgrounds will report into the Supervisor Backgrounds and Relocation and will assist with all compliance-related areas of the hiring process, such as background checks, employment verification, orientation planning and management, and compliance audit support. You will be responsible for managing applicant background check submissions to our business partner, including education, employment, criminal history, FAA licenses, and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) for all hires, SIDA badge requests, and PRIA related forms for Pilots as appropriate. In this position, you will also assist with the collection and submission of fingerprints.

As a key player at the end of a Candidate’s journey, you will play a critical role as the capstone to the Candidate experience by building trust through transparency and ensuring a fast and effective process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage applicant background check submissions to business partners, including education, employment, criminal history, licensing, MVR, and PRIA as appropriate
  • Review background verification results and investigate discrepancies
  • Periodically collect candidate fingerprints and manage the fingerprinting applications
  • Process Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) requests
  • Conduct internal audits of talent acquisition hiring processes
  • Other duties as assigned

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Qualification & Experience:

  • Prior experience with SAP and/or recruiting management system
  • Notary Public
  • Prior experience with backgrounds and employment verification experience
  • Prior experience with employment compliance
  • Prior experience with FAA PRD system
  • Prior experience with JetBlue Talent Acquisition systems
  • Bachelor’s degree OR a demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through a combination of a High School Diploma/ General
  • Education Diploma (GED) and four (4) years of related work experience
  • One (1) year of Human Resources administrative or regulatory compliance experience
  • One (1) year of analytical experience
  • Prior experience with PRIA processing
